About the event
Each year, Youth Homelessness Matters Day (YHMD) raises national awareness about youth homelessness to ensure the realities faced by young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness remain on the public agenda.
This year, YHMD will take place on April 15.
In recognition of this national day of action, Detroit Phoenix Center is partnering with local organizations throughout the community. Our mobile outreach center, The YouthUp Mobile Unit, will travel to several locations to connect with youth and young adults, distribute resources, and raise awareness of available support.
